I am an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. Natural medicine has interested me from a young age. Growing up in California I was fascinated by the Native American healing rituals as well as their use of local flora in medicine. I later received my B.A. in Anthropology of Medicine at UC Berkeley, learning how health and illness are viewed in different cultures. In Israel I continued my studies at Hebrew University's Rehovot campus where I studied Chinese Medicine for four years and received my L.Ac. After finishing these studies, I worked treating patients who suffered from digestive problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, gastric ulcers, Helicobacter Pylori infection, constipation, abdominal bloating and pain, GERD, acid reflux, hemorrhoids, fissures and fistulas, Barrett's esophagus, etc. I learned a tremendous amount about gastroenterology, gained clinical knowledge and experience in making differential diagnoses. I subsequently interned with macrobiotic nutritionist Avihai Wolczak, and began integrating dietary recommendations in my treatments. Since 2010, I’ve been treating clients in my private clinic in Tel Aviv, focusing on digestive health and women’s health.
